What’s your pricing structure?

I have a set daily rate which can be reduced for retained PR support such as maternity cover or a fixed day each week. Pop me an email for prices.

What’s your agency background?

I’ve worked for four mid-sized agencies (including headed up the PR division at an integrated agency) for over 15 years. I have senior-level experience but am happy to help at whatever level you need, from Account Exec to SAM level.

Can you work from our office?

As a fully remote operation, I work entirely online with all my clients, to UK hours. This helps keep my costs to a minimum and my rates competitive. However, if you have a short-term project which requires a physical presence, we can discuss options and additional costs.

Are you available at short notice?

I am! While there might be the odd week where I’m booked up, I can often jump in with just a few days’ notice. To be on the safe side, it’s always best to give me a weeks’ notice if possible, though.

Will you speak directly to clients?

I absolutely can, yes. I work around your preferences, whether you’d like me to work on behind the scenes or front-and-centre with clients.

Do you work entirely under our brand?

Of course – when you bring me on, it’s as an extension of your team, so I’m always working under your brand as one of your team.

Do you need a long-term commitment?

No. I understand that small and mid-sized agencies need the flexibility to scale up or down, so if you only need me for a particular project, that’s more than OK.

Can we use you for a single campaign?

You can indeed! I can help with story development, media list building, pitching, distribution, coverage tracking and reporting, building decks and presentations – whatever you need.

Could you manage an entire account?

Of course. Capacity permitting, I can allocate set days per week or month to managing one or more accounts for you.

Are you available for longer-term support?

I am! I can support you with up to two days per week on a longer-term basis to cover things like maternity leave, sick leave or periods of increased workload. This is generally the option most agencies prefer.

What about when we don’t need you so often?

That’s perfectly fine; my services are designed to be as flexible as possible so you can scale me up or down as your needs change.

Will you poach our clients?

I wouldn’t dream of it. Your clients remain your clients – I work as an extension of your team, with complete discretion and professionalism at all times.

Is there any conflict of interest?

I’m careful to avoid conflicts of interest and will always flag potential overlaps before accepting new work, keeping your business and clients confidential.

What are your areas of expertise?

Having worked in PR for 20 years, I’m experienced in all aspects of the industry – but I have particular expertise in thought leadership and crisis comms preparedness.

Can you work alongside our team?

Very much so. I’m used to working seamlessly alongside agency teams and other freelancers and can quickly adapt to your processes, tone of voice and ways of working.
